I'll post this here, too. It's on another thread titled "You asked for it. You got it."

Here's the message I sent to Provenance:

Subject: Glacier Girl

Hello,
I need your help. I participate in the Warbird Information Exchange forum.
There’s a quite lengthy discussion going on, at this time, about future plans for Glacier Girl. The discussion started because of a rumor that Glacier Girl would be going to Duxford for the Flying Legends airshow in July. The discussion started out as a “would she or wouldn’t she” and has evolved into a “should she or shouldn’t she”.
Would you be kind enough to tell me/us if there is such a plan?
I will, of course, understand if you should simply say, “None of your business”.
Kindest regards,
Brad Eney

Here's the answer I got:

The plan is that Glacier Girl will fly to England this summer to retrace its
original mission.

Thanks

Simon Brown

That reply was as of about 10pm yesterday. You want more recent info than that? :?

It is not my place to say where GG will eventually end up, but she was in South Texas this week end.

The Bearcat and Corsair show the same. However, if I remember right, I think King said that they were down in Cotulla.

The airplanes live in San Antonio, and go visit the ranch near Cotulla every now and then.

Are you saying the owner(s) have asked that you not divulge information about it's location, owner name, etc?

No, they havent asked, but if they are not divulging any information, it is not my place to do so. When and if anything happens they should be the ones breaking the news.

Are you sure it's not Brazil next to the F4U-1 and Spit IX? :)

Alright Children if you can't agree where Glacier Girl is going......then we'll just have to settle this and put her back in the ice.

I still haven't gotten over her leaving Middlesboro

Me too. I live about 70 miles away from Middlesboro and would go up to see her whenever she flew. I'm lucky I got to see her first flight and fly every year since through 2005. Hopefully, I'll get to see her one last time on her flight to the UK as they say she will stop by on the way.
