Monday's forecast for OSH is 100 degrees and humidity...sounds like a great day to head for the seaplane base and wade in Winnebago (or embrace the AC at the hotel).

Seriously, be careful out there folks. I'm now delaying until Tuesday...82 and sunny.

Still taking photo requests.

Today is a good day to tune into the web cams when you get the off chance. Within just the last several minutes John O'Connor's Bearcat (Blue Angels scheme) and the C-46 "Tinker Belle" have arrived. The T-6, DC-3, Beech 18/C-45, and T-28 parking is also filling up quite nicely.

If you happen to be around any of the Spartan 7W "Executive" aircraft, I'd sure appreciate any/all photos you might take of their cockpits/instrument panels, and of the two data plates located just below the throttles on the lower center portion of the instrument panel. I am trying to verify some information on one of the plates across the production run, and would appreciate any help you can provide. No emergency, just if you're in the area and looking for something to do...

Thanks! Hope you are having fun.

Once the award winners are announced, if someone could post a photo recap of the award winners that would be very much appreciated. If that's too much work, no big deal. Have fun everyone!

Copy that.

Not on grounds yet...fluid forecast (typical midwest summer!)...maybe Monday, maybe Tuesday.

Thought I caught a glimpse of F2G Race #74 at the Philips ramp. Anybody confirm?

NWS has issued Monday heat advisory...104 with high dew points and humidity. Don't hurt yourselves, and see y'all Tuesday early.

Just curious... When the warbird webcam goes to far right looking towards the end of runway 36 - that taxiway at the bottom of the screen - is that what the fighters use to come in and out of their parking area headed to the active runway ?
Thanks, Mike

That is correct (more correctly, USAAF fighters and any Yak 3/9/11 that happen to attend).

Just to the right of the camera's swing is an enlarged hardstand (sponsored by Scott Lawn Tractors) where a few rarer types and Warbirds in Review takes place.

Navy fighters, scouts, torpedo planes park on grass just beneath where the Trimotors load passengers.

Frustrating not being able to see, ain't it? :?

Race 74 is there and it has a hideous spinner on it. Ack!!!

Been busy but if I get a chance i'll try and share some pics.

While the quantity isn't there yet the quality most certainly is.
