For any Americans who are planning to do Geneseo and then drive to TOM, if your travel plans include cutting across southern Ontario ( it will shave hours off of your drive time ) remember to bring your passport in order to be allowed back into the USA by US Customs.

And remember when on our 400 series highways to keep your SUV's in the right hand lane except too pass. :D and unless you have a Beltronics STi Driver radar detector, you might want to not use it up here.

Are you saying radar detectors are illegal in Canada? Or just some types, or what, exactly?

Yes they are illegal here in Canada and our OPP use Spectar 4 detectors to catch you using one. The STI Driver is the only one on the market that they can not detect, just a little FYI. Also the service stations between London and Windsor are closed so gas up before London.

Hope this helps you guys out.

I do thank you guys for the speed limit warnings, I do have a heavy foot, here in CA, 75-80+mph seems to be the norm.

The "Victory Flight" has just been expanded to include the Lancaster, Russell Group's Me-109 & Spitfire, and VWoC's Corsair, Mustang, Hurricane and P-40!

Any update to the overall list of participating aircraft? The Thunder website isn't spilling any beans.

The list should be up soon.

I'm sure you'll all be disappointed BUT...We can't attend Geneseo AND Thunder. (The fact that the prices at Thunder went up doesn't help either.)
So...you'll just have to make do without the Mudges.

Mudge the frugal

Which other Skyraiders?

Neal Melton
Dr Brent Hisey's (just repainted)

And last but not least, my favorite, the one with the polka dots.

Neal Melton's Skyraider isn't listed. I hope that doesn't mean the restoration is taking longer than expected.
