The good news----saw an OV-10 Bronco , 2 S2 Trackers and a Huey-------the bad news------saw an OV-10 Bronco, 2 S2 trackers and a huey. Since they work for california dept of fire and they were banking literally above my house, the next hill over, formerly the Black Mountain Spring Water plant, was on fire. We are in the suburbs but in a woodsy area, they were spotting to make sure the fire was kept under control by ground units. Thank god the crews were swift and contained the fire, but it is a little nerve racking when they are flying for a spot less than a mile away. But it was reallllly cool to see them in action. Like my own little Vietnam era airshow.

What a day... 2 Chipmunks, 1 T-28, 1 F-86 and maybe 2 Migs (they were hard to see). Driggs, ID who'd a thunk. Awesome time today for sure. Plenty of pics on Warbird Radio.

Saw Taylor taking off northbound from ADS in his L-5 ahead of a pretty nasty looking thunderstorm. Hope the flight wasn't too bumpy!

Saw a pair of T-6s early this morning. Probably on their way to Oshkosh.
