Hey! That beast looks familiar, but a much better shot than i got. I am in the middle of uploading about 4gig of pics from the Webelo Crossover event now, and when I get through them I will compare, but that looks like it!. At about 5 miles out from the threshold, he was somewhat high and moving pretty fast! An interesting configuration that got my attention.

Because of it's configuration, it's the fastest small business turboprop on the market.

I think that may have also been Gen. Lyons. I understand he has three now.

Not a warbird..... but a warbird pilot wannabe. I was reading the Sunday paper a few minutes ago when a V tail Bonanza starts doing low passes over the Santa Clarita Valley. On the second pass he is obviously showing off for someone on the ground and starts pulling a tight turn. As I watch the bank angle increase to over 60 deg I start to worry...... then the nose goes down, the wings waggle and he recovers from an obvious accelerated stall at about 300 feet. All about 1000 feet from my back deck..... I thought that I was about to witness my 3rd fatal crash.

Went up to the Boardwalk Hobbyshop, and since it was on the way I stopped at Lunken on the way back. First I tried parking up by the golfcourse area, but didn't see anything but this, which I'm going to make a WAG was a KAL 747:

Then I tried sitting up on the trail up past the terminal, but it was just too cold, and also I was kinda worried about being arrested by the TSA or something. Anyway, on the way back I saw this, and pulled over into an empty parking lot to get pictures:

Can't quite tell what it is yet...

Buzz numbers, but the N-Number is too small!

Blasted powerlines!
Anyway, some research once I got back came up with Navion N4045K

Finally, as I left the dorm to go to dinner, this flew by just as I opened the door:

It looks Aero Commander-ish to me, but I couldn't find any of them on FlightAware, and I couldn't read his N# either. C'est la vie.

Yeah it came from the same batch ours did, I don't know hoe many there were but a couple were supposedly D-Day ships, do you know anything about them?
