saw a pair of VFA-125 "Rough Raiders" Hornets in formation on approach to KTYS (Knoxville) this morning. Made it by the airport this afternoon and there are still four T-38's out there (been there over a week) plus a T-1A Jayhawk trainer.

Marine One and friends carrying POTUS into Kalamazoo for the high school commencement speech around 4:45 this afternoon. Wish I would have had my camera on me.

I also saw a C-17 a day or two ago. Might have been related to Obama's visit, as I'm not aware of any C-17 bases anywhere around here and can't really think of any other reason why one would randomly show up here. Apparently it's still at the airport, but I haven't had the chance to get over there lately.

Look like this? There were a set of "Fighting Omar's" in town to do a fly-over for the Indy Car race on Saturday night at TMS..

They were a no show for the Indy race. There were 4 A10s from Barksdale for the flyover.

I think the Omars did the Truck race on Friday Night.

BTW, did anyone notice that the Navy Hornets were almost a minute late over the Indy 500 while the Air Force F-15s were dead on time at the Coke 600? :)

The C-130s with the orange numbers are ANG/Reserve C-130s that do fire bombing. It's a modular system that rolls into the back end on a pallet.
