Thought the WIX faithful would like to see some Flying Legends pictures.

Duxford is renovating the American Air Museum so their B-29 was pushed out front and centre.
Image

The rest of the aircraft are scattered about the museum. I found the P-47 sandwiched in between the F-15 and the A-10 in Conservation Hanger 5.
Image

Out on the flightline, they had the newly arrived P-36 front and centre with the P-40 that arrived last year.
Image

Image

Four Mustangs this year including the newest (to me) P-51-D.
Image

The star attraction – in my humble opinion – Red 7.
Image

Another main attraction – Aircraft Restoration Company's Blenheim.
Image

There were 14... count em... 14 Spitfires on the flight line. OK don’t count em but trust me there were 14 Spitfires... how cool is that?
Image

Including this beautiful Seafire.
Image

And this Mk. XIX
Image

A couple of Corsairs...
Image

... a Wildcat and Avenger...
Image

... and two Sea Furys (Furies?) rounded out the naval contingent.
Image

Red Bull returned with their very shiny warbirds.
Image

Another newcomer, least for me.

Heck, he's probably just getting warmed up! From what I've seen elsewhere that's probably only half of what was in attendance. Keep 'em coming Lightjug, and thanks.

That's a great selection of photos, thank you for sharing! I definitely have to get the Blu-ray or DVD!

The "Sharkmouth" P-51 D is former "OLD Crow" N167F, Scandinavian Historic Flight, sold to Nordic Warbirds Sweden. Now on UK register as G-SHWN.

Chad, thank you as well. I have a few more and some video... the latter will take some time to edit and post.

Michael

And yet still flown by Norwegian pilots.

It's ARC's, not TFC's.

My mistake, thank you for bringing that to my attention - edited to read Aircraft Restoration Company, not TFC.
