I Googled the phone numbers and came up with a hit for GSA Auctions.

it looks like 44-86844 B-25J N3453G to me.
from the warbird registry, had heard it went to Oklahoma some time ago

HA, I was going to post that this one was at the water park.....................Where is the rest of it????? Back in the 90's, this airplane was forsale in a Military Vehicle magazine for $25,000. I called and had a good talk with the owner about the airplane. He would run the engines from time to time until he build a barn directly behind it. He knew his B-25s as he was pretty clear about the corrosion issues it had and what it did in its prior life hauling livestock. A couple of my fellow mechanics and I and a pilot who were warbird fans were each talking about getting personal loans and purchasing it. At the time on the airport we had what is now or was "Carolina Girl" when it was stored in NY for a while. We sat and talked our plan out over a few cold ones but none of us caught a flight to go look at it and thats when Jay bought it and parted anything of value that was with it and thats how she ended up at the water park.

Really too bad.

Funny circumstance, a few weeks ago I was digging through a long stored box of treasures (OK, it's pretty much junque) and found a 3X3 B&W right side picture of N 3453G while it was napping @ Lakefront Airport in the mid-ish 70's (and I was working @ R/STOL). The guy who bought it from the Levy Authority also bought a derelict DC-3C (l/n 20037, C-47A-85-DL, 4316571, then YV-C-AMD, N 54452, and N 34MS) last used by Pan-Air and derelict since being used as a launch ramp for a car stunt in the James Bond movie 'Live and Let Die' shot in N.O. (I removed, and have the conversion data plate, done by Pan-Am, in front of me right now) and one or two other hulks and took them apart and off to Petal, MS. for a 'museum' that I understand never got opened.
The flat or Stromberg intakes mean it never went through HAYES for upgrades although it did have a fiberglass radar trainer 'N' nose cap but a round, scab type turret cover plate, not a flush one. I understood the last operator used it to haul either tropical fish or South American critters to the U.S. before it went to sleep @ Lake Front.

Was not tropical fish. He told us that the belly skins had severe corrosion from all the animal urine. Replacement of aircraft skins did not bother us but what did put a damper on a deal was that what you could see of the wing spars was not that great either.

Aerovintage had a picture posted on his B-25 updates of this thing sitting in a hanger taken apart. I too wonder what happened to the rest of her. and i found the little it of info on aerovintage books http://www.aerovintage.com/b25news9.htm

Man, that is a sad story for a warbird in this day and age....

I went with Jay to look at that bird in Pelham some years ago.
The brakes had gone out and the owner had a logging chain
holding it to a massive oak tree for run up purposes. Some-
where I have pix.

Beside it, in the guys front yard was an engine less Goon.
Not far away was a TF9F trainer. Amazing trip. I remember
we hauled back a BT-13 trainer, a bunch of radios, some
control surfaces, an engine mount, and I don't remember
what else.

Hmmmm... The item was pulled a day early.
The last bid I saw on it was $9,600.00

While I was in the hunt he must have had a SHTRONG offer.

may he just got around to reading his emails/messages....boo!
