I haven't done a work-up on the history of the San Diego P-40 yet, but here is what I have so far...
Aerial Visuals - Airframe Dossier - Curtiss P-40E Warhawk, s/n 1064 RCAF, c/r N40FT...and WD5 confirms this is/was the San Diego Air and Space Museum machine.
Here is the one I have noted recently arrived at Ford Island...
Aerial Visuals - Airframe Dossier - Curtiss P-40N Warhawk, c/r N1009N...and again I haven't done the work-up on the history.
Both of these dossiers may contain errors as I haven't gone through them in detail yet. Having said that What I have looked at so far, seems to indicate these are two different P-40s.
I don't think I have see an ID quoted for the new Ford Island P-40. Can anyone tell me which P-40 recently arrived at Ford Island?
Mike
