I told my fiancee it would make a great Christmas present. She replied "just close your eyes and imagine you're there..."

Still, it would be an awsome experience. I hope they get enough takers to make it happen. I want to see video of Nine-O-Nine and Witchcraft actually dropping bombs!

Florida lottery is $38M this weekend, so if I win, I think I can sign up.

There is already some footage and photos of the practice mission that was done in Witchcraft last year. I know several WIX members here were part of the mission. I will see if I can get their approval to post some of the photos.

I think I will put on the "Vietnam Fantasy Camp". It will contracted for 3 days. For $999, you can arrive in country (Saint Louis), for your "in country" Skyraider orientation time. In the middle of the first briefing, we will have the simulated mortar attack of the briefing compound and the simulated NVAs will over run the perimeter, capture you and throw your a$$ in a tiger cage with no food for 6 days. When I do, finally, let you go, all of your friends will act like it was all your fault, or as if you were never gone and refuse to talk to you about anything of substance for the next twenty years. After that, everyone will act like they always thought it was a good idea and you are suddenly a hero. Go figure.

If this sounds good to you PM me and we'll set it up.

Eric...If memory serves, that's already been done. And the NVA did it free. You're about 40 years too late.

(Yes, Eric...I know you were being sarcastic. )

From the advertisement, it looked to be a very fun event! A bit, no, way too pricey for my budget. Guess I'll have to keep living vicariously through others fun experiences!! Will be watching for photos!!!! and a blow by blow account of the experience.

The Me 262 did not get to take part this year. The aircraft is still at Sanders. We are hoping for a mid-summer debut of the Me 262 on The Wings of Freedom Tour.

Wanted to go and swapped e-mails but my wife was scheduled for a surgery that week (she's fine now) and would have lopped off something I needed if I'd gone through with it. maybe next year...
