Come see our beautiful airplane.

I've been checking to see if I can get down to Lansing but it doesn't look like that will work out. My tickets for RFD airfest are for Sunday. And Sunday is the only day that my sisters can make it.

curses.

Wish I would have know about the Indiana Aviation Museum event a little sooner. Looks like I'm not going to be able to make that one. I'm hoping to make the Waukegan show this year though.

When they host a airshow at Miegs field, then I will think about going there.

WOW, look at the size of that man! He's a giant! He must be at least 8 feet tall. I'll bet he's a retired NBA player. :D

We need more warbirds to show up at the Lansing event. There used to be more warbird activity, but in recent years it has fallen off. The AT-6 wasn't even there this year.

Great photos of the Lansing EAA fly in Pancake breakfast. That is me sitting in the cockpit of the C-47 in the very first C-47 photo. Can't see me very well. It was hot up there. At least no one was shooting at me.

I guess it is just not meant to be for me this summer as all of those that are the closest for me to get to are days I am out of town! :(

*NOTE*

The Gary Air Show will now be held July 11-13 and NOT July 18-20!

Hey Tony, prior to the current windshield that we installed around 15 years ago, it really got hot in there with just the two side windows to open!

The Stewart S-51 was the greatest scale warbird replica ever! I'm still upset that the people who bought the rights to the design allowed it to fall though the cracks vis-avis poor management decisions. I always hoped to see a couple dozen of them in the air together. 8)
