Dad-gum!, what on earth happened to the second one!? Wrecked it on takeoff, landing, or just had a bomb explode underneath? WOW.
Thanks for sharing!

Geez,
I almost blew by this thread because of the word "Bonanza".
I'm just finishing up a massive repair job on an A36, it's 2nd crash landing and lots of monkey maintenance in between.
I'd rather not see another Bonanza for 6 months.
And I pray daily, that I will never work on another Apache (Piper) in my lifetime.

Has that Apache been scalped in the second picture?

Dang,
I thought I was going to see some pictures of the Model 1079 "Pave Eagle" (a highly modified A36 used for electronic surveillance missions)that Beechcraft produced.
The Apache pictures were great though!

Jack......do you know if any of the A-36's in your photos are with the 27th FBG?? I ran into two pilots (Capt. Charles Dills and Col. Ken Chilstrom) who said they were with the 27th FBG. I believe I remember Col. Chilstrom saying he flew eighty missions in an A-36.
