The Glenn L. Martin Maryland Aviation Museum is moving in to the 100,000 square foot, five floor former Lockheed Martin building at 2323 Eastern Drive. The new facility will be called the Maryland Aerospace Heritage Center and include the National Electronics Museum, which will finally find a permanent home after twice being forced to leave its previous locations:

In 1996, the National Warplane Museum had plans for a very large facility at the Elmira Corning Regional Airport. It was to be made up of "two display hangars, one maintenance hangar, an administration building and a gift shop". In the end, the goal was far too ambitious and only a single hangar and the administration building were completed before the by then renamed Wings of Eagles Discovery Center was forced to vacate the 70,000 square foot facility in October 2010:

As part of the announcement that the Naval History and Heritage Command and the Air and Sea Heritage Foundation was embarking on a project to recover a sunken Douglas TBD-1 Devastator from Jaluit Atoll, a rendering of a potential exhibit was released:
