I liked the final scene especially, with Lt.Col. Neel Kearby explaining air combat tactics to his pilots. Staged or not 

. I have soft spot for Kearby, as I wrote a two part article about him, and his planes in Polish periodic Aeroplan.
I started it with home front pic of Virginia Kearby reading to her boys . This picture story struck me, as I realized their husband and dad was  already dead when the picture was taken. One  of those wake up calls, when focusing on planes, performances, operations, ace races and so on becomes a routine:
