Nice, too bad it's the same weekend as Reading...

That's actually the reason why we have the event on that specific weekend. The CAF Airpower Tour normally has the B-24 and B-29 at Reading, while the other aircraft (i.e. P-51, T-6, C-45, PT-13, etc.) weren't booked that weekend for that show since other CAF birds were selling rides there. So I reached out to them a few years ago to see if they wanted to sell rides out of our location in Stratford.
This will be now the third year of hosting the CAF, and this year has provided it's fair share of challenges. Since the CAF Airpower Tour decided to (understandably) cancel alot of the earlier tour dates due to the extended maintenance on the 24 and 29, that meant the AT-6, C-45, and PT-13 were also unfortunately canceled. But thankfully the P-51 was still coming, as well as the CAF Capital Wing's TBM as they aren't part of the Airpower Tour proper. We reached out to the CAF New York Wing and they confirmed their PT-26 to attend instead. After getting the "okay" from the CAF officials, we also booked Simmons' Aviation's AT-6 to fill in the gaps as well. (I was originally trying to get the CAF Rhode Island Wing's SNJ to come sell rides (keeping it under the CAF umbrella) but I was informed that the plane doesn't have a ride program yet.
So we're making the best of an ever changing and fluid situation! My goal (hopefully) is that the CAF team sees the potential in Stratford as a full stop and brings the whole fleet next year. Though I think their safety protocol dictates that 4,759ft is too short for the bombers.
