Attended the Military Aviation Museum roll-out and flight today of their Me-262 (replica). Did a roll out, walk around, Q&A and brief demo flight with three passes as they continue to get time on her as they prepare with the WW2 show in Pennsylvania and Oshkosh this summer. I spoke with the pilot who reported he is very happy with the new brakes, as the previous set that had grounded the jet for years faded quickly.

Event was at Chesapeake Regional airport, Virginia, to avoid the short runway at her regular Suffolk base, or the short (and grass!) strip at the main Virginia Beach Museum.

Impressive.
