Is there a difference now between...

the Tillamook Air Museum and the Erickson Air Museum? Are the planes still at Tillamook owned by Erickson or is that a separate collection?

Two separate museums. The ones left at Tillamook are either owned by the museum there, or on loan from Dayton or Pensacola as I understand it. Half the hangar is used for RV camper and equipment rental, and when I was there in August of last year, there was a steam locomotive being restored inside as well.

Erickson moved their collection to a newly built facility in Madras.

The museum at Tillamook continues to operate but with other aircraft on loan from a variety of places (USAF, NAVY, and privately owned).

Would be nice to see some new WWII birds come into the collection there, flying or otherwise.

Classic aircraft aviation museum in Hillsboro , Oregon, lost lease at Hillsboro Airport and is moving or moved half it's collection to Tillamook. Some will have to be trucked to Tillamook, dismantled. I think they flew everything that can fly . Mig. 21 etc. This was news in the Sept. 23 2016 Hillsboro Tribune. Erickson moved to Madras, Oregon and I will be in Eugene , Oregon in July for a wedding , and will visit museums from Seattle to Madras, can't wait.
