Connie bet me $100
Well now Connie won't have to worry where his next meal is coming from!

Sitting around drinking beer on friday afternoon with Connie while it poured rain at the ranch, Connie bet me $100 that the Messerschmitt could fire up its engine in 6 prop blades. I took the bet and the next morning we aired up the tires, pulled it outside, pre oiled the engine, added fuel, and it fired up in 6 blades.

I lost the bet....

I'll post some video of the engine running once I'm back in the office.

If someone on here is in contact with Connie, the man that acted as his crew chief during the making of the BoB film, and dismantled and crated up all his Buchons for shipping to the USA from the UK after filming, has recently posted about this on the Flypast forum, and with some stories of looking after the CASA 2.111's in the UK.
He said, he had tried to get in contact with Connie but without any success. Anyone on here help out?

And yet another proof why one should not ever take a Connie Edwards bet. :)
