I was the crew chief for F-4 444, 558 TFS, 12th TFW. Capt. Danielson always strapped a movie camera between the windshield and the top of the instrument panel. As I was helping him strap his camera in before his last flight, he revealed to me the extra dangers associated w/ missions over Mu Gia Pass. God bless Captain Danielson, I'm glad he was returned home eventually.

Michael,
I would very much like to talk with you regarding your experiences as a crew chief for 63-7444 of the 558th. Please contact me via email at your earliest convenience at randygreenart@randygreenart.com. I am working on a painting of Capt Danielson's "BOXER 22" mission on 5 December, 1969.
Best regards,
Randy Green
