I was lucky enough to ride in Moonbeam, while Vlado flew Excalibur.

Wear helmets and flightsuits friends, they look cool! As for the hearing protection, does anyone have the earplugs with built-in audio? Unfortunately I've noticed hearing problems at my young age :( :!: I've heard these are excellent in the line of hearing protection...

Nice pic, Trey!

..Always wore flight suits (first cotton, then nomex - whatever we could scroung from the USAF or the Army) when flying for CAP, both in the T34 and the T-41.

..Blue nomex flight suit, CAP? Want one? (40R, if I recall right) Drop me a pm...

Unfortunately, I'm a bit larger than that. I had to custom order my flight suit (which didn't cost any extra thankfully) because I don't fit a "standard" size. I'm hoping to have some money in the short future to get one though, I just have been holding off until I actually got some aircrew ratings and activity was picking up for me before I spent the money.

Not to hijack the thread, but I wear full Nomex and helmet in all of my warbirds

I had a friend who flew his T-6 wearing flip flops, white bell bottomed pants (complete with grease stains and holes), a dirty white t shirt and a sweat band  :!:

And then there was Fred Sebby. Party on dude.

Fred was the greatest.... Many Breckenridge memories of him with Tiger and the rest from the Left Coast ...
