Does anyone have photos from this group, they flew C-47s. I am hoping we have a veteran amongst us that has a personal photo book they wouldnt mind sharing. I am looking for photos of our aircraft or any other 47 in the squadron. I am looking to accurately repaint the aircraft with her accurate squadron markings and colors. Yes this is prelude to arguements over accurate, but willing to live with a photo or two of her squadrons other aircraft and then base an educated guess based on it.
I have written the AF Research department, National Archieves and the Smothisonian, and am awaiting there resposnes also, but figured fellow WiXers might already have some laying around.
