I think a couple of the Cross Roads drones are still around I think one of them is at the Quanset Air Museum. Some survived until the mid 60s when most were scrapped but a few are still with us. Hellcats in detail and scale lists a few of them

Thanks James for the info on # 14. A little further research leads me to believe it was in USN Squadron VX-2, this also leads me to believe that the all the photos were taked at or around NAS Chicoteague, VA. Aircraft being made ready and tested prior to Operation Crossroads. Comments and corrections are requested. John
