Great photos Nate, thank you for sharing them! The majority of the warbirds pictured were owned by Bob Pond and based in Minnesota at the time, with the Planes of Fame East Museum. Since 1996/97 the aircraft have been based in California, as the museum collection was moved and renamed the Palm Springs Air Museum.

It still erks me that for ten years of my life the Planes of Fame East museum was only about a half an hour away from where I lived, and my family never took me out there to see it.
The other Mustang, "Ho Hun," is still being operated in the same markings as well.
