I'm hearing possibly 3 of them this year... 8)

Has there ever been pics of 3 civvy Tigercats in the air together?

Big Bossman is the only one entered in the races. I don't see one listed in the heritage trophy como. either, so I doubt there will be more than one. There were some rumors of one more racing next year, but I'll believe it when I see it.

I read somewhere, maybe over at AAFO, that there are already two Tigercats at Stead.

As MX stated, there is only ONE F7F registered to race, and that is Big Bossman.

The others are probably there as static displays - or possibly for the heritage flight.

I very much doubt that they are part of the Heritage Flight, which is Air Force only. Likewise, the Navy equivalent (Legacy Flight) performs with the F-18 demo, and no F-18 demo is listed for Reno this year.

It wouldn't surprise me if John Sessions brought his Tigercat to Reno. I've heard he is planning on bringing the Malcolm hood to Reno this year - rumor only! :)

& I just spent half the day doing a comp check & getting a start on changing a cylinder on the 3rd one, which will be at Stead on the 10th..... so there's your 3 :)

& I never said anything about being entered in the races.... I merely stated there will probably be 3 there.. & this one won't be static...

However.. depending on which two are already there... it's possible there may be 4.... 8)

I'm glad I was wrong on this one. What part of the show will it be flying in? Heritage flight I assume?

Not a clue to be honest, all I know is that it will be flown while there, but not in any of the races :?
