Thanks for posting. You know, I had no idea the Gladiator had flaps on both the bottom and the top wings... was that feature unique for the Gladiator or was it also incorporated on other designs?

Who was the lucky sod that got to do the test flight? Man, I'd give almost anything to fly a Gladiator.

First designed in 1937 and put into production for 1938 the Waco A or ZVN-8 had vacuum operated flaps in uppers and lowers.

Thanks for posting. I've been following this restoration for a long time. It is great to see another one of these flying. I'll bet it's one of the sweetest flying biplanes around...ok, at least one of the sweetest looking!!
