Another neat sight to see. I took these (scan from 35mm) a few years back of the Shuttle Atlantis in Tucson (the 747 need gas) on her way back to Florida...

We were out on the ramp one fine day in Kissimmee, the B-25 was in the pattern, which is a great sight (and sound!) anyway.........If you looked just beyond the B-25 to the east, though, you could see the plume of a rocket and a tiny little speck of the rocket itself..........Pretty cool to see our past and present "together" like that, the rocket trail providing the backdrop for "Killer" -- would've made an interesting photo..........
