I'd go with the PBY-5A Canso.
It's my passion right now.
I think of all the aircraft used in BC, the Canso is the best representative airplane to tell the history of aviation on the West Coast of Canada.
It's got an excellent range so getting to and from airshows would be easy (but slow). It can also carry a good load so bringing related artifacts and crews along for the ride would be no problem. I also think it would be an excellent platform for offering flights to airshow patrons.
It's also quite a unique machine. How many warbirds can you fish for salmon from?
Cheers,
David
