Another excellent book on the B-36 is "Magnesium Overcast" by Dennis R. Jenkins. He also authored "B-36 Photo Scrapbook" which allowed many more excellent photos to be published that there wasn't sufficient room for in the original hardback book.

Enjoy the Day! Mark

Frank Sanders told me that he was shocked to discover that the 4360 in the Super Corsair had a lower fuel flow than the Centaurus in his Sea Fury 924G when flying side by side. Wasn't long after that Dreadnought was born.

"Furias has not raced since 2002"

If I remember correctly the Furias engine was a freash rebuild, that started making metal. Anyone know who did the rebuild?
I think the mention of the good rebuilder in 60's and 70's was Cooper something??? Anyone know.

It would sure be a pleasure to see intelligent conversation and responces to questions, and on these threads. I can see why I read a thread here where the guy was disgusted. I can turn on my TV and hear a bunch of nonsense.

It's an inside joke between the two of us since we fly together. Not everything in the world has to be as serious as cancer. An enema might help your problem.
