a/c lost July 1944 pilot unknown to me
The pilot here is Major Robert McWherter
382nd FS 363rd FG Airstrip A7 Azeville, France

Thanks Jack. My dad was with the 381st. One of these days someone will find another picture of him other than the only one I have with his airplane "B3-E". I know he flew a lot of other airplanes on mission's so, someday something may turn-up. :?

Have you asked Kent Miller.
He did the 363rd FG history and is doing a 2 vol set on the 9th FGs
like he did on the 8th FC
