That was the first P-51 I ever sat in back in about 1970 when it was sitting in front of a car lot outside of Syracuse NY.

Just something about seeing the headrest and other military-spec parts on them that look good. Don't get me wrong, I like all of them, but the single-seaters are neatest. :)

I think that is Chuck and Bev Greenhill's . They have restored some nice and historic planes. Oh, and the reason it flies so good it that I sold him a set of Lodge spark plugs. Of course he might have some new ones by now.

I just love that flat OD paint on the polished aluminum. Note the reflections of the clouds on it.
