Woohoo! I'm glad Tom is a good supporter of Geneseo.

I went with Bob Dixon, and Sandy Thomas was our host. Blake was out of town. Bob and Blake flew F-15's together. Here is their RV.

That is pretty fine, a Spitfire, Cub, and Stearman on a beautiful grass strip. And it looks like a good VFR day. Do you have the size of the Covey Trails strip? I have only looked at it from the air and with the power lilnes at the north end it looks fairly short.

What is it about a Spitfire and a cub on the grass that just looks right.

Rick, thanks for the info, I am not near the airport book now. It takes me about 2500 feet to stop after a normal touchdown with no wind. In a lighter single seat Spit at sea level 3000 feet is not a problem, but those wires seem pretty high and one could not afford to float too far down. Takoff is certainly no problem, wires or not.

Hey Tim, great pics, and thanks for thinking of me with the Mustang pics. I love the ol' stangs. Cars and planes.
