I can tell you from experience that a ride on Thunderbird is something you will never forget. And the LSFM folks will really take good care of you.

Go take out a second mortgage on the family homestead BECAUSE...
Not only is Thunderbird flying...
For those with a little less money to spend...

The West Houston Squadron -CAF is supposed to have their AT-6 and BT-13 available for "revenue rides"...

Their BT-13 was the first warbird I ever got a ride in. :D

So get thee hence BOMBERFLIGHT and everybody else interested in the ride of a lifetime!

I took a ride in a T-6 in 2000. 30 mins for $70. Glad I took the ride. What a deal.

Spanner,
Based on your post, I contacted the Houston group and they said that they were not aware of any revenue rides and the only rides they could refer me to were the ones posted on their advertisement. Do you know something that you could share?

My project should be done in about 8 months and I am anxious to get any/all rides and time in a 13.
Thanks
Bruce

Just talked to the powers that be... at West Houston Squadron...

It looks like the BT-13 may not be ready and signed off. It was supposed to be and may yet be, BUT...

The AT-6 will be at Wings Over Houston.

The ride situation is supposed to happen AFTER the airshow proper is over at 4 PM.

More details as they develop.

Also developing... West Houston Squadron has some spare BT-13 parts that will be for sale. The CC is going to forward photos and descriptions of what they have and I will be WIXing and or private messaging interested parties.

I love it when a plane comes together!

Collings-Houston group will have a static area on the South end of the ramp. Usually they put us down by the C-5. Look us up. We'll have the F-4 sim out there and running.
