I'm not sure which one it is, but one of the four F-14s mentioned is sitting in the "boneyard" at the former George AFB. It is visible on Google Earth too. Again, not sure about the fates of the specific aircraft in the seizure at Yanks and POF, but all the F-14s I know of that were not already allocated to museums are being destroyed--not just demilled. There are some videos on YouTube of the process--it's rather distressing for "Turkey" lovers...

The 4 that were taken back are back at Davis/Monthan. The ones that they have been destroying there are old A models. If I remember right there are 20+ D's that are war reserves and will not be destroyed for awhile. There were a number of airframes including D's left at Oceana that needed overhauled and they didn't want to spend the money on them at the end of their career so they were cannibalised and then cut up.

I suspect the final disposition may be tied up in the courts for a while.

I'll bet that they will cut them up and the lawsuits will be a moot point.
