Thanks for posting the link. I've seen this before...these were new ball turret recastings made for Harland Avezzie for a couple of his customers. From what I've heard Don Brooks was one of them and I'm not sure about the other.
The recastings look nice but there is always the shrinkage problem with aluminum so it's very difficult to mix recast shell pieces with other "original" parts.
I think the most difficult part of doing a recast like this is to simply convince somebody with an original ball turret shell to disassemble their turret and have molds made.
