Warbird Information Exchange

Hi all, just wondering if anyone knows what the difference is between the OA-10 and the PBY-5

I think that the OA-10As were built by Canadian Vickers as PBV-1As (equivalent to PBY-5As) for the USN but were taken over by the USAAF and given the new designation. Similarly, PBY-6As obtained by the USAAF became OA-10Bs. I'm not sure about any real differences between the Navy and Army planes, at least as delivered.
