I saw 2 seperate semi loads of A-4s' headed east bound on IH-10 this afternoon west of San Antonio. Probably out of Arizona headed to ????? One had an "A" on the tail number 726, and the other had Lexington on the side. Any ideas?

Well, the 726 bird would have been a Meridian NAS A-4.

Don't have any idea where they were heading. The one with Lexington on it would have been a really old paint job. Lexington was decommissioned in 1991 and Randy Wilson made the last approach in the CAF Wildcat during her decommissioning ceremony.
