C-47 Question

I remember along time ago seeing a C-47 in Dday colors called "The Buzz Bunny" whatever happened to this plane? I loved seeing the Dday colors.

The CAF had a “Buzz Buggy” C-47 25 or more years ago.

Thats right Buzz Buggy, I remember seeing it fly over about 15 years ago and just had me thinking, does she still fly? Or what happend to her?

That Monogram kit sure created a fan base for Buzz Buggy. Her fate was discussed here a while back...

Uh-oh, two Nathans in one thread!

That’s what someone told me around 20 years ago. I think there were some corrosion issues.

Yes, and the R4D-6S "Ready4Duty" is it's replacement, originally painted similarly and named "Rebel Rouser" before it's Navy Data Plate was found and it repainted into Navy colors as it is today.
