I've heard them called bent WING birds but not bent fuselage birds! My uncle was on the USS Scabbardfish and rescued a NZ Corsair pilot out of the drink in WWII. The pilot flew in Europe before returning to the Pacific and stated he wished he could of flown the clipped wing (about 8 inches removed from the tips) Corsair against the FW-190s. he loved them Corsairs...
