Robin Olds - any update on his condition?

Tue Jun 12, 2007 8:24 am

Anyone got further info since the last update in March 2007 of how Robin is going?

I have had him sign a few F-4 Phantom books for me and to me he is what a real fighter pilot is .. doesnt listen to HQ and fights a war a war the pilot way.

I havent seen anyone since Robin Olds was in control of the 8th TFW, that as his pilots said.. "they would follow him to hell and back" as he was the best darn leader ever.... Sadly most people took him wrongly and didnt listen to him. Linebacker 2 would of been great if he had been in control of 7th AF.

Since the 1960s.. i guess the USAF doesnt cut it like him anymore, leaderhsip wise?

He must be doing okay....

He is scheduled to speak in a panel discussion during the EAA AirVenture Oshkosh convention next month, so I am guessing that his condition has improved significantly over the last 3 or 4 months.
