Steve Hatton has posted up a film trailer featuring the people of Bomber Command that he's interviewed so far. It's a small sample of a major work in progress, but is one of the most quietly affecting things I've seen in a long time.

He's also interviewed a number of Canadian airmen, and hopes to incorporate clips into the revised trailer in due course.

The aircraft flyover at the beginning is the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight's Lancaster PA474 flying over Lincoln Cathedral, the Lancaster being named 'City Of Lincoln'.

I'm sure Steve will be along shortly to answer any questions you may have.

Take a moment to listen to these voices which are still able to tell their tales. With the loss rate of Bomber Command, similar to the appalling loss rate of Germany's U-Boat crews in sheer numbers, each voice must speak for many others that never saw their 30th birthday. Over 55,500 crew were killed.

Thanks, Steve.
