I agree James, the guides were excellent there, just like the rest of the musuem.

I pulled out a 1970's book on RAF Musuem Hendon off the shelf yesterday and was looking at the display of a WWI aircraft workshop that many have lamented on various forums recently. To be honest, after seeing Omaka's version, it makes the Hendon display look like the dummies from Are You Being Served. Very, very dated and unimaginitive.

Omaka is far and away the most imaginative and ingenious museum for displaying of history and bringing it to life that I have yet seen.
