I've seen video looking down from a cliff showing F-4s below flying extremely low (and slow) over a civilian boat, making multiple passes. My mouth was hanging open - I mean the Phantoms were all but scraping the top of the boat several times. The F-4s and boat weren't that far away, either; a major league outfielder might have been able to toss a ball out as far as they were from the camera.

I know that from the pilot's-eye perspective, you always think/feel lower than you really are, so they must have thought they actually did scrape the thing. Good flying, VERY poor judgement, IMHCPO (In my humble civilian pilot opinion).

Is this video available on the 'net, or was it only "for the fellas", since I did see it at a friend's house (a current USAF pilot) ... hint hint.

Better not say that over on "Flypast" People have died for less!!!
You can be excused because you proberbly have never seen the "Frightning" fly. It was a sight and sound that beggers description. If those chaps at Stennis get theirs airworthy make a point in going to see it fly.

P.S. The F-4 is an impressive looking beast too!!
