Thunder's Black Cat Flight

I can't say how awesome the Thunder Over Michigan experience was for me. As if a flight with 10 (not 13) TBMs were not enough I had the chance to fly in Charlie Clemment's Black Cat PBY. The sight of a Widgeon, T-6 and John Shuttleworth's Yak off our wings was amazing but the hightlite was seeing Charlie hand the controls over to Everett Kennedy, a WWII PBY pilot. Everett flew the PBy for a half hour before making a low and over at Willow Run and landing the aircraft himself. He greased it in on his first PBY flight in 51 years.
