Forgive me if this has been answered here before but just how did you get so many great photos from WW2? Any photos of the Republic P-47 Thunderbolt in action? I certainly enjoy looking at your photos. Keep 'em coming.

Hate to bust in on a topic that's not directed at me but, I think Jack was a combat photographer in WWII.

If he was he was about - 40 years old, i.e. he wasn't even born then.

I heard he haunted the National Archives a bit.

That was his son that was the combat photographer, and he left his collection to Jack.

No magic involved. Just 25 years of collections, haunting estate sales,
trading with other similarly defective souls, ebay, vets and oh ya National Archives. I'll trade them all for a T-6 and a Texaco card!
