"Nick Nichol's Nip Nippers"
all the p-40s in Frank nichol's flight carried it.

What color is P-40N 45th FS Baker Island 1943?

OD/gray oversprayed with overall tan. They taped the data block so it was OD/yellow, the insignia had a red border.
Pretty funky.

Someone recently asked about a P-40 with "different" exhaust stacks than normally seen.

Is this a feature of the P-40 CU, P-40B, and P-40C?

This AVG bird seems to have the weird stacks. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v730/ ... avg622.jpg
