Hey O-2

Were you there Sat? If so how many aircraft were onhand? Wish I knew you were gonna be in town. Would have been nice to meet another WIX'er in the flesh.

I wasn't able to make until today due to family obligations. And I was surprised that there seemed to only a handfull of aircraft at the show. If I had to guess, without looking through all my pictures maybe 10. Still It was great to be there regardless. I had a great time talking with folks.

Sorry I'm a bit late with this. Anyway.....I was there both days. From what I could make out, there were 10 L-19/ 0-1s, four L-17s, three L-16s, and one each L-2, L-4, L-5 and L-21. And let's not forget the T-6 "Mosquito" that flew over from Greene County each day and made a few passes.
I thought it was a pleasant little fly-in, but if I'd have heard the announcer mention his wife's Aeronca one more time I was going to knock him off the stand

Ok, so it took me a while to get back to my house. Actually I just realised that I never did up-load the rest of the pictures.

So without futher ado:

God, that L-21B brings back memories. I worked on that thing through out my early teens and was a flight crew member on it at Air heritage. Those are it's real markings.
