Is there a definitive listing of the P-51s that Stephen Johnson recovered from Indonesia in (IIRC) the early '80s, and their subsequent fates?
I believe that a number have been 'consumed' in rebuilds utilising the paperwork of crashed / destroyed aircraft, others have been rebuilt using their own identities.
Just curious.......

I don't have a comprehensive list, but I have a rundown of the 6 or 7 Mustangs that Johnson brought back that had a Cavalier pedigree in my article "Peace Ponies" in Warbird Digest #9.
