Project Corsair Wanted...

Thu Oct 05, 2006 7:34 pm

A potential collector in Denver (no names mentioned) who I know is looking for a Corsair 'project' here in Colorado for a new museum in Denver....anyone with any SERIOUS possibilities or anyone who knows of a Corsair project looking for a home message me and I'll pass it on to the potential owner...it would be part of an up and coming museum and tied in with a serious collector who frequents this site and is heavily involved in retrieving old aircraft wrecks...

And please don't suggest we look into getting ahold of N194G (the local Corsair currently at Wings over the Rockies) as that looks to be prohibitively expensive....

Is this Corsair going to fly or just sit in the museum?

Well there is a Corsair carcass that has been sitting in the Lough Foyle(the waters between England and Ireland) for the past 60 years.
