Does anyone know whose T-6 this is? Everyone was fine, which is the most important thing! See the below article from the Tulsa World:

No one hurt as vintage plane does bellylanding

A vintage World War II-era aircraft made an unconventional landing Saturday morning at the Tulsa International Airport during an Oklahoma Air National Guard event.

The airplane, a single-engine T-6 Texan, slid about 500 feet after landing with its landing gear up, damaging the aircraft's belly and front-mounted engine, said Tulsa Fire Department Capt. Mitch Tarnell, who is stationed at the airport.

The aircraft's pilot and one passenger were not injured, Tarnell said.

Tarnell said the plane was part of the Air National Guard's family day, which featured static and live displays of aircraft.

Commercial jetliners were directed to different runways, along with other airplanes participating in the event, said Alexis Higgins, spokeswoman for the Tulsa Airport Authority.

Tarnell said he was showing a tour group a fire truck when he saw the plane approaching the runway with its landing gear up.

"I just happened to turn around and see it. He kept going lower and lower," Tarnell said.

The airplane stayed on the runway but came close to sliding off, he said.

Crash crews responded to the scene and eventually removed the plane from the runway, Tarnell said.

Higgins said

there were no delays in commercial air traffic as a result of the accident and that crews were examining the runway for damage Saturday.

The runway remained closed during the afternoon, Higgins said.
