Web Site Suggestions

Did a rework of my web-site to try and save some $$, The cost of hosting the video was getting to add up very fast Approx 30-40 gig a month. I move the video and some images to Photobucket ( cheaper hosting ) but the video is very small screen and I make them Windows Media Files 720X480 so people can go full screen.

Just wondering what you guys think of the new hosting? ( not sure if I like the small size )

Take a look and let me know of the quality and size of the video's.

Next year I will be upgrading to a Canon GL2 of XL2 ( depends on funds ) and should be able to produce a lot better quality video.

Also I was thinking of producing a DVD for the 2005/2006 season of the shows I attended, any thought on that?

Hey Dave,

I liked the fact that I could download your videos, since we attended many similar venues, they made for nice memories.

The DVD idea is a good one too!

Yes I am thinking that I might put the current year video back on the site and host it their for 1 year then move it over to Photobucket at the start of the next years tapeing.

I talked with Scott about DVD's at Geneseo, and my plan would be to produce a cheap ( nothting fancy ) just all the video taped, and sell it at a resonable rate with any profits going to Scott to help with the Forum. I enjoy getting out to the shows and meeting fellow WIXers and taping the shows for others to enjoy that can't make it to these shows

I was going to say that I wasn't interested in the DVD if I wasn't on it, but I thought better to stay quiet...
